Welcome to Wycherley’s Department Store where a few position have become available, romance is about to blossom and gossip has spread like wildfire regarding the whereabouts of the infamous festive gravy boats.
Will Tina replace Karen on Kitchenware? Will Darren get back together with the thief of Wycherley’s and just who covers everyone whilst their outside having a fag?
THE FAG BREAK is a brand new audio comedy by Stephen Lee Rees that follows the staff at Wycherley’s department store, giving a glimpse into their lives whilst having a fag.
Featuring many actors from our previous productions, such as Alex Wrampling (Yulelogues, 2013. Late, 2014-15. Shafted, 2016); Mik Horvath (Fish & Chips, 2016. Light One Up, 2016) and Veronica Jones (DONOR, 2018), plus many more,
We also welcome new actors that have joined the team for the recordings.
The Fag Break hopes to bring some laughter, good times and the ability to not take life too seriously.
Series One Recorded between 2022-2023.

01: Positions; In which; Tina discovers a new position, Sharon detests her own position and Carol explains her position about a very unusual date.
02: News; In which; Tina overheard News about Angie, John overheard News about Darren and Karen, and San ‘n’ Sylv’ are confused about the lot.
03: Holidays; In which; Sandra’s seeking excitement, Barry’s dreaming of Gran Canaria, and Sara’s gone and sold all the Travel Cases.
04: Smokes; In which; John’s gone all electronic, Sandra’s had the last fag and Sylvia’s left gagging for it.
05: Phones; In which; Lynda receives a phones call, Angie’s showing off her holiday pictures and Tina plays a game throughout.
06: Cupcakes; In which; John’s all bunged up, Angie celebrates her promotion with baked goods and everyone loves Little Pam.
07: Relations; In which; Darren’s moved on from Karen, Angie’s moving in with Robert and Lynda speaks of a naughty relation.
08: Arguments; In which; Sara’s reading horoscopes, Sylvia and Sandra are feuding and Little Pam’s finally having it out.
09: Silences; In which; Lynda’s doing a sponsored silence. John’s lost his voice and Barry would rather not say anymore.
10: Interviews; In which; Stuart is feeling anxious, Tina’s extremely nervous and Sara’s failing to keep them both calm.
